The Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University, along with Roanoke College Galleries, is pleased to announce the joint exhibition Jim Campbell: In the Repose of Memory, opening on September 16th. Campbell is a pioneering electronic artist whose works have set the standard for art made with technology for over twenty years. He uses technologies developed for information transfer and storage to explore human perception, memory and the ways we measure time. There will be an artist lecture at Roanoke College at 5:30 pm, followed by a reception at the Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins at 7:00 pm. Parts of the exhibition will be on view at each of the locations through December 4, 2010.
